During his Coachella set, Alok shows how powerful human creation can be.

Alok, a Brazilian EDM artist, wowed fans with his extravagant Coachella set this past weekend. Alok’s set was amazing from start to finish. He was joined by 50 dancers from the Urban Theory group who did hand choreography that went with his set.

There were dancers in front of the DJ booth, just below Alok. They were all black, with silver masks and gloves. The precision of their dance moves made them look like robots, and the moving words “This is not AI” were shown on screens next to the stage. At one point in his set, Alok wore a white shirt that said “Keep Art Human” and walked toward the crowd.

Some artists and creative people have taken a stand on AI, the future of humanity, and how AI might affect art and creation. This is a very controversial time in history.
