Miami Music Week just got even more electric.

The 2026 Electronic Dance Music Awards (EDMAs) have unveiled this year’s nominees while announcing a major move: the ceremony shifts to the iconic Clevelander South Beach. Positioned in the heart of Miami Beach, the EDMAs are staking a claim as the ultimate hub for fans, artists, and industry leaders during one of the most high-profile weeks in dance music.

A Fan-Voted Celebration of Global Dance Music

As the only major fan-voted awards platform dedicated exclusively to electronic dance music, the EDMAs continue to spotlight the artists, producers, vocalists, DJs, and tracks that defined the global scene over the past year. From festival anthems and chart-topping collaborations to underground club breakthroughs, the nominees reflect the genre’s diversity, energy, and cultural influence.

“EDMAs are about the community showing up for the culture,” said Sean “Hollywood” Hamilton, iHeartRadio National Hall of Fame personality and founder/executive producer of the EDMAs. “It’s another year of massive A-list surprise performances, along with EDM’s biggest hit makers accepting their much-deserved ‘Deck’ awards. LET’S GO!”

A Nonstop, High-Energy Spectacle

True to the culture, the EDMAs are anything but traditional. Awards are handed out live during surprise performances, often with winners accepting their trophies in front of a moving crowd. No long speeches, no formalities—just high-voltage energy that mirrors the music itself.

This year, the ceremony expands beyond the stage to include panels, poolside activations, media moments, and exclusive gatherings—all curated in partnership with SHIFT Miami. The Clevelander’s central location ensures every aspect of the celebration, from backstage interactions to fan activations, becomes part of the overall spectacle.
