WHITENO1SE began his journey as a young producer when he was 15. He did this because he was deeply interested in sound. He’s now been making and DJing psytrance music for over 10 years and is one of the best-selling acts on Beatport, with over 300 million streams.
WHITENO1SE has played at well-known events like Tomorrowland and Electric Daisy Carnival, and he has worked with artists like Vini Vici, Nina Nesbitt, and Infected Mushroom. He is also admired for not sticking to one style when he makes art. For example, his soundscape combines lively and emotional sounds, which represents a theory similar to white noise.
WHITENO1SE is an artist who keeps breaking down barriers. His visionary approach builds a strong base that will ensure his impact will continue to shape the future of sound.
In our exclusive interview with WHITENO1SE, we talk about how he makes music, how music can help people connect, and his future projects.
Could you tell us about the first time you remember hearing music?
I heard music all the time when I was a child. I used to connect my home equipment and DJ for my friends and some private parties when I was 11 years old. I finally started making my own songs when I was 15.
Are you making music for yourself when you write and record tracks, or are you making music for other people?
As I got older, I felt the need to make people happy on the dance floor. At first, I made music for myself. We all have to face the truth: no one will like the music we make. Making things we love and sharing them with the world is the best way to go.
What is your best part of coming up with ideas or making something?
My favorite part is coming up with new ideas. When you’re a song producer, you have to do a lot of different things. You have to be creative just to make time to be creative!
Which albums changed the way you think about the songs you make?
I wouldn’t say which styles I like best, but I will say that music has always been a gift to me. That relationship I had with it was unique. Now, making music for me is about sharing that link. Music gave me something, and now I can give it to other people.
